Cheeky Zane: Blue Eyes

Zane’s mum Charlotte had called us last year to do a set of environmental portraits of her gorgeous little boy- playing at home, running around the garden and generally causing mischief.

Luckily, Charlotte loved those pictures and I suggested she bring Zane into Elstree Photo Studios during the setting up process. In came Zane- cheeky smile, massive blue eyes and very little inclination to behave for photographs! Fortunately his lack of focus was nothing that couldn’t be fixed by Toy Story’s Woody and Buzz, so in they came and Zane was delighted.

I spent a bit of time observing Zane, allowing him to do his own thing and forget I was even there- occasionally finding the right moment to click the shutter and catch Zane off-guard. The pictures came out really nicely, and Charlotte absolutely was over-the-moon to have these memories to cherish forever. For me, it was a very fun day at work- Zane is a real character and depicting his character out in these pictures was very rewarding. Hopefully Woody and Buzz enjoyed it too!
